Lifting Equipment User's Guide

1. If the electric hoist is newly installed or has been reinstalled after trouble shooting, a test run with an empty load should be carried out several times. Do not use the hoist before installation is complete.

2. Before putting the hoist into normal use, first perform a 10 minute static load test- use the hoist to lift a weight that is 125% of the rated load, and lift it off the ground only at 100 mm.

3. A dynamic load test is letting the hoist rise, fall, and perform left or right movements with a rated load. During this process, the mechanical transmission is checked to see if electric parts and connection parts are in normal and reliable working conditions.

4 Do not use the lifting equipment in an impermissible environment, or exceed the rated load and nominal circuit closing times per hour (120 times).

5. During installation, commissioning and maintenance, the flexibility and reliability of the limit device must be carefully checked. When the hook is raised to the upper limit position, the distance between the hook and the drum must be more than 50 mm. (The distance for hoists with capacities of 10t, 16t, or 20t must be greater than 120 mm.) When the hook is in its lowest limit position, the safety rope on the drum must be in more than 2 laps.

6. Do not press both buttons that tell the hoist to move in opposite directions.

7. Cut the power off after the work is complete.

8. The electric hoist should only be operated by specified personnel, and they must be familiar with all safety rules. Inclined pulling and lifting are not allowed.

9. Specialized personnel must regularly check the electric host, trouble shoot any problems and make records carefully.

10. The brake guide quantity, S, must be less than or equal to V/100 with a rated load. (V stands for a stable lifting height in one minute).

11. Wire rope scrapping criteria: The testing and scrapping of wire ropes should be in line with CB/T5972-1986 Crane Wire Rope Inspection and Rejection Standard.

12. Electric hoists must be well lubricated, and the lubrication oil must be kept clean, free of impurities and dirt.

13. Use a stiff brush or small piece of wood to oil the wire rope. Do not oil it using your bare hands.

14. When the electric hoist is not being used, do not float heavy items, otherwise the hoist parts will eventually become deformed.

15. If a problem occurs during use, immediately cut off the main power supply.

16. Pay special attention to the wearing of parts.

17. The hoist can support 10 to 20 tons, and has an automatic power-off capability. After a long period of continuous operation, the machine will automatically shut down to prevent the motor from overheating. After it has powered off, the hoist can be lowered, and the hoist can be used again after the motor has had time to cool.
